Who we are
The three projects developing GET IT are:
- DECIDE (Developing and Evaluating Communication Strategies to Support Informed Decisions and Practice Based on Evidence; http://www.decide-collaboration.eu) is a 5-year project (from 2011 to 2015) co-funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme. Its aim is to improve the dissemination of evidence-based recommendations.
- Informed Healthcare Choices is a 5-year project (from 2013 to 2017) funded by the Norwegian Research Council. Its aim is to develop and evaluate resources to help improve the availability of reliable health information in mass media and to teach children how to assess claims about treatment effects in low-income countries.
- Testing Treatments interactive (TTi) is a website (http://www.testingtreatments.org/) about how we tell whether one treatment is better than another; in other words, about what constitutes a “fair test” of the effects of treatments. The English National Institute of Health Research is funding the development of TTi English.
