Full explanation:

Patients may not find a treatment acceptable for a variety of reasons, for example because the burden associated with taking the treatment is unacceptable. From a population perspective, a treatment or recommendation may not be acceptable because the distribution of benefits, harms, and costs, in the short term or the long term, is unacceptable; or because of moral disapproval.
